Due to the “Lockdown“ we have scaled down to a much smaller space which allows us to do one on one clients only and by appointment only. Shiatsu
Shiatsu (finger pressure) is an ancient Japanese healing art/bodywork. The fingers, palms, thumbs, elbows, knees and hands are all used to stimulate or sedate the energy -ki flowing though the body, by means of gentle touch or firm pressure to promote health and healing.
According to Oriental medicine, our energy, or ki moves along specific pathways, known as meridians, around the body. These relate to our internal physical organs and our emotional, psychological and spiritual state.
Shiatsu is done though the clothes, and a treatment – about an hour – is normally given on a futon on the floor.
